Would I be ok using an EK Verbal book with a 2002 copyright date?

Is that EK Verbal 101 or the verbal content review book? The content review book has some math tips in it. In either case you're fine. The older EK Verbal 101 is preferable to the new version. The newer version is the same as the old Verbal 101, but they took out questions to get to the new format.
