Hello from the University of Saint Mary in Leavenworth, Kansas!

We are excited to welcome our first OTD cohort on campus this June. We have a few seats left in our inaugural cohort, and we have immediate availability for application reviews and program interviews. The University of Saint Mary was founded in 1923, and we are located on a beautiful campus about 40 minutes northwest of downtown Kansas City (and about 30 minutes from the Kansas City airport). Healthcare education was one of our original missions, and it's something we prioritize today.

Program basics
- Visit our website - www.stmary.edu/ot
- Our OTD curriculum is 109 credits taken over three years. Students who begin this summer will graduate in Spring 2024.
- We offer 4 Level I fieldwork opportunities that correspond to the class that you are taking (the Children and Youth Level I fieldwork will be taken while you are enrolled in the Children and Youth course)
- We offer 3 Level II fieldwork opportunities (28 total weeks). These can be completed in the Kansas City metro area or across the country.
- We have received Candidacy status in the accreditation process.
- Program pre-requisites: Anatomy and Physiology I & II with labs (or Anatomy with lab and Physiology with lab); Introductory Psychology; a second Psychology class; Statistics (can be taken in major)

Interested? Apply through OTCAS.
- We require GRE scores, but we do not have a minimum score requirement.
- In the Program Materials tile: Upload a screenshot or PDF copy of your GRE score in the Test Score Report. Your Cover Letter can be a copy of your personal statement or a cover letter. We also ask for a resume or CV.
- You must have at least a 2.75 GPA (as calculated by OTCAS) to be admitted to the University of Saint Mary. Students with a GPA between a 2.75 and a 3.0 will be placed on a probationary status during the first term of the program.
- After our initial application review, students with verified applications and all materials will be invited to participate in an interview with our faculty. These can be done over Zoom.
- We are looking for students who are committed to becoming Occupational Therapists and are ready to relocate as our program begins in about 5 weeks. This will be a quick turnaround time for anyone who is interested.
