Is 222 (90) on step a bad score? :(

go over to the usmle step boards and read some stuff there. your score is above average and should get you some decent interviews provided you have other good stuff in your app.

the # is useless (75 is passing, anything over ~240 is a 99). While this may look like a %, it's not. Check the NBME site

Ask your school. Usually, junior AOA is for the top 10% of the class. Full AOA - depends on your school
 
222 is a really solid score... and don't let these people scare you into thinking you NEED research or AOA to land a residency... i know pleanty of people that went through the motions, passed everything, pouned out 220's on their boards, no AOA, no research, and landed pleanty of interviews....

i swear this site is loaded with over-achievers
