I have 15 days left. My goal is 230.
I took NBME 12 today and got a score of 207. Got 49 questions wrong from 200 = 75.5%. From those 49 qs I didn't read the question stem for 10 qs due to lack of speed. I don't know if having read them would make a significant difference.

Do you guys think its still viable to get a 230 or should I postpone? If its still possible what do you guys recommend?

Appreciate your help

Yes it's possible. Run through Pathoma and first aid one more time and do 60+ Uworld questions a day.

NBME 12 was bad for me and a lot of my friends for some reason. I received ~225 about 2 weeks before my test on it, but received 250+ on the real deal. I only took two NBMEs, for what it's worth and the other (NBME 16) was close but still underpredicted my score.

How are you guys taking them in random months like July or March? Doesn't MS II end around April/may and third year start in June?

Is the average NBME score (+/- 10) representative of what one might get on the real deal?

More the +/- 5 points. The newer ones are more representative from what I remember though, and honestly if they test your weaknesses it may significantly affect the accuracy of the NBME as a predictor for you.
