usmle step 2

I would like to take the usmle step 2 review but I didnt know which one is better the intensive prep or medpass from kaplan or if it is better to buy the material and study by myself, if it is better and anyone has the material please advice me. Also I would like to know if it is true that If I take the step 2 before june 2004 I didnt have to take the csa. Thanks

I don't know the answer to your first question as I am getting ready to take Step 1.
About the CSA, you have to take it regardless of when you take step 2. From the summer of 2004 the CSA will assume a new name since AMGs as well as IMGs will have to take it. I think it will be called Step 2 CK(clinical skills). Go to the ECFMG website for more info.
