USMLE STEP 3 score report delay??

I believe the new step 3 starts in November? I believe I read something somewhere saying that if you take the new format there scores will not be released untill April? Is this true? Or are they just saying that to CYA? Do you guys believe if someone took it in November or December their scores could be released sooner?

The score delay was stated pretty clearly and unequivocally on their website. If you take the new format your scores won't be available until April. Makes sense since they likely need to gather data from enough test takers to curve it properly.
