Anybody who has used it plz?
I found very good reviews regarding it on the web.

Yeah, I've seen pretty good reviews on it also. If you go onto amazon you can look inside the book to get an idea of the style/format. I'm also curious to what people that have had a chance to use it think... anyone have thoughts of it in comparison to Crush, etc.??

Yeah, i just looked at it on line. It really is what I've been looking for. A text that tells you symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment(1st tx, 2nd treatment) exactly what you need.

most other books don't address what you need to know for step 3. FA is lacking so much information!
I'll give more detailed feedback after my exam.

Just bought it. After spending a couple of hours skimming through it, I REALLY like the format and organization; the tables and figures seem nice and "pithy" (and in color!); the and the topics seem thoroughly covered.

In comparison, I thought Crush for Step 3 was incomplete (after spending ~2.5 hours skimming through it), disappointing since Crush for Step 2 was so good. First Aid had some nice CCS cases but I've never been a fan of the series. It seemed complete enough, but the series always has numerous errata.

I guess using "Triage" is a bit of a gamble since it is a new series, but I'm more willing to take that gamble on step 3 vs steps 1 or 2. Just my two cents...

I bought the book a few months back. I must say its a very pleasant read with lots of whats the best test to do and whats the initial test to order kinda crap which Crush does not have. Also it mentions protocols and guidlines from the horses mouth like USPTF etc so its very uptodate. Also it reads fairly easily. Has colored pictures and nice glossy paper. However the only thing is that I dont know how complete it is...meaning can one use it as the only review source? I think you would have to use it with a question bank like UW and Kaplan qbank..maybe write explainations into it. So if you do the cardiology block from UW, then you write down in the cardiology section of triage, all important points which you learnt from the question. Finally you will have a book thats filled with knowledge from q banks and the text itself and you can read and re-read the crap out of it. IO am planning on doing iut this way and also incorporating the First aid for Family medicine boards(which is also excellent).
Just my 2 cents. But one thing is for sure that you wont be disappointed, but it will feel like something is slightly missing..but its more complete then Crush!

my opinion is that overall its a good book but have step 2 materials handy as it assumes your knowledge of certain things but otherwise so far I like it.
