    2045 Q's (UsmleRx) Vs. 2184 Q's (Kaplan QBank)

Which one is more similar to NBME?

neither. but both are still good products. the two are very similar to each other. i used both and my overalls we about the same. usmlerx is slightly easier than qbank though. however, both go into too much detail that is not found on the nbme's.

  4. I'll agree, but in all fairness the real thing is also harder than the NBME practice exams (especially the free one). They are accurate in predicting your score but I thought the questions on those exams were a lot shorter and less complicated.

That being said both online question banks are harder not in the way the real thing is (more triple jump questions and asking "why" more than "how") but rather are harder because of the covering of esoteric topics not likely to appear on the real thing.
