does anyone have any information about the humanities program at ut? i am currently doing an english major in the liberal arts honors program but thinking about switching to humanities in order to do the humanities program, but i dont know how good it is and how good med schools would consider a humanities major. at this website they have a humanities plan (the last one which is labeled Bioethical Concerns in Medicine ) as an example and it seems pretty interesting. http://www.utexas.edu/cola/depts/humanities/contracts/sample_contract/
any input?

Dunno how much response you'll get but I'll bite; do what looks interesting and get high GPA and high MCAT, then a handful of token ECs for good measure. Nothing else matters. Clinical/patient exposure is also vital. Doing things for the sake of getting into med school sucks, I regret it. Much better doing things for their own sake.

I'm currently finishing my econ degree at UT
