UT Southwestern/Baylor chances?

MCAT: 32P ( VR:9 BS:11 PS:12)
cGPA: 3.79
sGPA: 3.85

-160 hours hospital volunteering
-20 hrs shadowing
-100 hrs+ Art docent (gives public tour around UT campus)
-Some leadership positions.
-decent LORs
-went to Nicaragua medical trip for spring break
-3 years of research in viral evolution/nano-particle uptake in macrophages/heat shock -protein studies(no pubs, 3 posters)
-10 years of classical piano training, performed regularly with ensembles on UT campus
-won T-shirt design competitions and designed websites for part time
-won congressional art competition, artwork displayed at DC

Marjor: Biomedical engineering (5 year plan)
In-state resident, US citizen, moved here from Taiwan during high school and took 2 years of ESL(excuse for my low VR)

Do I have a solid chance at UT southwestern or Baylor? given that I'm submitting a little late? (mid-late July)

I think you have a chance. Their average MCAT for acceptances is a 35, so yours is a bit below average. That 3 years of research will be looked upon very favorably at those schools.
