UVA interview to acceptance?

Anybody know how long it takes to get the letter from UVA? They told us they would let us know in two weeks, but I have seen some people on MDapplicants saying they found out in five days. Do they send an email or regular mail.

Also does anybody know what the waitlist situation is like there?

They send snail mail and are prompt (I found out within a week). About the waitlist, I've heard it doesn't move too much-try a search on this, there's a recent thread about it. Best of luck!

Actually, two of my good friends were accepted off the waitlist last year. They usually overbook the class quite a bit, but the waitlist does in fact move a good amount in late May and June. As for decision letters, the wait time is usually about two weeks. Good luck tennesseejed!
