VA.gov site becomes central login for accessing benefits - VAntage Point
For those utilizing benefits through the e-benefits portal their is now a central login link connected directly to the VA.gov website. Basically, any and all features geared toward veteran benefits will now be available as an "all-encompassing" benefit outlined at the following:
VA.gov Home | Veterans Affairs
If you currently have a Digital-Service (DS) Logon credential or an ID.me credential, you should have the capability of logging in right now and checking any and all current standings and sign-ups pertaining to your benefits.
For those still wishing to apply for Chapter 31 - VR&E benefits, you'll still need to logon through the e-benefits portal for the time being. Given the recent changes with VR&E and education benefits, it may take awhile (or not) to have the direct information linked to the va.gov website.
