Since the search function is disabled I decided to try and be a good citizen and psot the location Vader's MD/PhD guidebook. He posted it a few months ago, so rather than read through 40 pages here it is:

<a href="http://itsa.ucsf.edu/~jcholfin/" target="_blank">http://itsa.ucsf.edu/~jcholfin/</a>

I believe he is a 1st yr MSTP student at UCSF, but not totally sure.

Looks like the in transit website. Maybe they are by the same authors. http://www.intransit.us/guidebook/

Thanks for posting the links. I hate to self promote, but am happy to see that others have found the guidebook useful.

Some of the info, especially the specifics on application process is a bit out of date (I wrote the guidebook 4 years ago when I was then an MSTP I and fresh from applying). I am planning to eventually update the content, but presently have had more pressing matters (i.e. thesis work).

The guidebook is hosted on my own site as well as Habari's intransit site (we agreed that it would jive well with the other info available there).

Please feel free to send me feedback for improvements on the next version. Happy browsing and good luck to all applicants!

SUPER thanks for all the helpful info. :) i love it when people share (hate it when people are stingy about stuff they need not be stingy about).
