Vanderbilt: Secondary Necessary for Interview?

I'm broke, and thus, don't want to send in the Vandy secondary unless I have to..

will they definitely contact me RE: an interview whether or not I send in a secondary? Or must I complete it in order to find out whether or not I'm game?

Vanderbilt bases their interview invitations based solely on the AMCAS application. Do not bother filling out a secondary or sending any money unless you receieve an interview.

Vandy conducts interviews based on AMCAS. I am proof. Vandy was my first interview last year. I was surprised to receive a letter inviting me for one since I had not completed their secondary yet. As long as your secondary is in by the day you interview you are ok. I remember some people I interviewed with last year hand carrying their secondary and turning it into the admissions office before heading off to their interview.


So this time around I am not going to touch their secondary unless I get an interview.
