Vanderbuilt calling on 10/15?

Does anyone know if Vanderbilt plans to contact people who have already interviewed on 10/15? Or do they wait until the weekday? Also, will they say if you get rejected/waitlisted then too, or only give out acceptances? I would be happy if I get news of rejection or waitlist compared to hearing nothing at all.

From what Patricia (Director of Admissions) says, Vanderbilt will notify ONLY if you are ACCEPTED by telephone call. She didn't specify whether it would be on the 15th, but I would think that Dean Helderman would have better things to do on a Saturday afternoon than to call applicants.

Although it would be nice to hear on Saturday, I think chances are going to have to be on Monday... afterall, what's 2 days, right?!

Doko's right, acceptees get phone calls and everyone else just gets a letter mailed on the 15th (or maybe 17th this year with the weekend, we'll have to see). I think last year there were some weekend calls, but who knows if they'll get to everyone, or anyone, on Saturday this year.

Does anyone know which interview dates are included in the October 15th notifications? I interviewed September 23d and am interested to know if I could potentially be called next week.

Yeah, I've also been told that vandy only notifies you if you get accepted. Good luck.

I think so. At the very latest, you should find out in November. On the other hand, october interviewees won't know until December, or so they say.
