I have interviewed at both of these schools recently and to be honest, I think I like VCOM better. MUSC has a lot of history and is very well established after doing this for nearly 200 years. Would I be completely crazy to choice VCOM over MUSC?
Here's a quick list of what I'm thinking:
VCOM Pros - Smaller City, Everything takes place in one building, Building and technology are much newer, outreach programs, OMM, Holistic Mindset
MUSC Pros - Closer to home, Established, Home of the residency program I'd like to get into (as of now), roughly 7k cheaper a year, integrated curriculum with only one test per block
What do you guys think?
