Hey I just got through staking a full length Kaplan verbal test and I was wondering if I could get an estimation on what a 52/60 would get you on the MCAT.

Thanks in advance.

I've heard from several people that the verbal passages that test prep companies have available are not very representative of the real MCAT.

that's a pretty damn good score- but bear in mind that the verbal is the most variable, sometimes its miss 2 or less to get a 15, sometimes 8 or less- just depends how tricky the problems are.
If i had to guess i'd say you're in the 11-14 range- but didnt kaplan give you a converstion chart for the section?

just fyi,

I've taken all the Kaplan verbal sections they offer outside the full lengths and I also would only miss around 7-8 most of the time and at times would miss much less around 5 to 4. Unfortunately, I don't remember them having a 1-15 score correlation which really sucks. I haven't taken a real MCAT verbal section yet but get this: Taking EK's verbal (espeically the 101 passages) is a lot different than kaplan. I miss much more......around 9-10 and the most I've missed is around 14. It freaks you out the first time you grade it. so I'm not really sure how the Kaplan ones stack up. From what I've heard the EK verbals are pretty damn close (if not the closest to the real ones).

Guess the only way not know for sure is to take one of the MCAT full lengths. U can get them from kaplan.

Take care,
Zep
