I just took a practice verbal test from the 07 kaplan PCAT book and found it to be extremely easy, especially the analogies. Many of the analogies were common knowledge such as Pig:Sty::Horse:Stable. Is this an accurate reflection of the PCAT?

How many analogies are there on the pcat??? Like a rough estimate.
I suck when it comes to them.

I want to say there are about 30 analogies on the pcat.

I thought the Kaplan verbal practice test was harder than the actual pcat.

On the pcat, the words aren't that bad. The hardest part to me, was picking the best word for the analogy because it seemed like 2 out of the 4 words could work.

The sentence completion wasn't bad at all.

I'd say there are at least 6-7 easy type analogies like the OP mentioned on the Verbal section. Then about the same number of difficult ones and the rest are filled up by words somewhere in between. The verbal section will start off easy, usually.

That's a lot, I had thought they'd have less, but oh well.
I sure hope they are easier than the ones in the practice books because each time I look at those ones I probably know like 10/40
