    Did you read the verbal book (PR, Kaplan, EK)- telling you how to aproach the passages? If you did then would you think it was effective?

    I did the Kaplan verbal stuff and it was pretty helpful. The only real change it made for me was to start me doing passage mapping. I never actually used the map when I answered the question, but I think it helped to sumarize each paragraph's point while reading it.
