There's a slight mistake on my application after the verification process. It's very minor though and I'm not sure if I should do anything about it (in case it delays my app). I was checking the course hours and for my junior year it says 27, when it fact it should be 30. I checked the courses and there is a blank spot for course hours for one my courses (it should say 3.0), everything else for this course is fine including the grade and credit.

If I make a academic change request, will it delay my application and is it worthwhile?

Thanks!

You can either contact AMCAS or most schools give you a "is there anything omitted on this app or any additional info you'd like us to know about" and you could put it there.

As for will it delay your app...I don't know. The slow part is actually the verification of the grades and it sounds like they have already done that. I would assume it would not take that long to fix (1 or 2 days). If you have all your stuff into the schools maybe you shouldn't wait. If you are working on secondaries, contact AMCAS so they can fix the problem while you work on secondaries.

Perhaps it is best to just contact AMCAS and see what they say. Don't they provide a phone # for questions?

I had a similar situation and contacted AMCAS about it. They fixed it within a couple of days and I continued to receive secondaries during that time. I would just let AMCAS know about it.
