Exciting opportunity for a PCP-Sports care physician in Virginia. Join an existing Sports Urgent Care center currently run by another PCP-Sports physician. The program has been so successful that they need to recruit a second. Ideally they would want someone that could do musculoskeletal care, occupational med, workers comp, spine intake, fracture care, etc. Essentially, an all-around musculoskeletal sports physician. The facility is part of a large, dominant Orthopedic-multispecialty group based in Central Virginia at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, yet only a few hours drive to the ocean, or Washington, DC. It is also close to Charlottesville home of University of Virginia. It has a core population of 75,000 with a draw area of 250,000. It is the home of six colleges. It is a pleasant family values oriented community.
There would be a base salary in the high 100s or maybe into the 200,000 range, based on experience, plus benefits, and bonus.
