Hey Guys,

I'm thinking of transferring to VTech from Christopher Newport University. My major here is Microbiology, which is a fairly easy program. I barely have to study to maintain a perfect GPA, but I'm pretty certain that that will change if I transfer to Tech.

So my question to you is, how much do you regularly study? At CNU I have a 4.0, is this impossible to do at Tech? Also how hard is the bio major (which I'll probably be taking).

Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

It's all relative. Hard to me may not be hard to you. I studied a fair amount but I also had tons of time to do other things like play IM sports, party, hang out with friends and frat hard:laugh:.

Do people have and maintain a 4.0, yes. Is being a bio major particularly difficult, I wouldn't say so (but I think that holds true at most if not all universities). You certainly won't impress an engineer by telling them you're a bio major.

What are the advantages of going to Tech vs CNU?
Bio majors everywhere aren't too bad.
