In addition to your Indiana state MD school consider all these:
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
Loyola
St.Louis
Creighton
Oakland Beaumont
Western Michigan
Vermont
Quinnipiac
New York Medical College
Seton Hall
Penn State
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
George Washington
NOVA MD
Also apply to at least 6 DO schools and include MU-COM.

Do you have clinical experience in the US? You 100% need it.

Did you apply for IU yet? With those stats, you should be able to land an interview.

Thank you for the advice, but I’m really not trying to attend a DO school. I’m hoping that applying early with things other than stats in tip top shape will help me out somewhat. Let me know what you think about this.

I don’t but I’m going to try to do that during my gap year or possibly this semester if I can find a job.

I’d advise 150 hours in the US.

People are recommending DO because of your MCAT.

Really don’t want to attend DO school, I feel as though it will limit specialities later down the road.

Check out the residency match list for the recent graduating class at MU-COM. Most specialties are represented. Derm, Rad, Gen Surgery, Ortho, Peds, Psych, its all there. Its your Step1/Step2 scores that push you towards the specialty you want to pursue, not the school you decide to go to. Top 20 would have more options due to prestige, but all others are generally fair game when it comes to the matching pool.
