Volunteer at dental clinic: under both dental experience and volunteering?

in theory it would be counter-productive to do so if you have other experiences to list. However, if you are having troubl filling the spaces then you should do so. It won't hurt

I had a similar dilemma for work experience and dentistry experience. I decided to only include it in one section to avoid being redundant.

There's no point in double-listing. They don't want to read it twice. Avoid the confusion.

Just put it under volunteering, use shadowing as your dental experience...
