the Ghana Education Project is a wonderful lil organization that sends volunteers to Ghana to do either 1) library building or 2) AIDS awareness.

For those that dont mind living in tight quarters, this was the best program I found. THe philoisphy is that international peace is built upon learning about other people's every day lives. What better way than to bring 10-20 volunteers from different countries to eat, work, play and sleep for 2-3 weeks for the betterment of a society in need.

I'm going to do the Spain 4.1 program, leading a summer camp for disabled children in Vallaba (50 km from Madrid). let us know what you decide, or what some other people have done.
