Now that I'm a real live doctor, I want to start doing all of that stuff I said I'd be doing when I was a real live doctor, eg I want to volunteer with MSF or other like organization. However, I have only 3 weeks vacation, so I don't know how practical that idea really is.
I could just go backpacking through southeast asia per my original plan, but this sounds so much more satisifying.
I want to actually teach or practice medicine. I've done plenty of cultural support work before med school, I'd like to step up to the bat and be a real live doctor in the field.
Any insights?
