Hey guys I have a quick question. I am going to be a junior this fall. I currently have a job as a CNA in an Emergency room, and i have a research job lined up for next summer. I haven't done a lot of volunteer work, and i was just wondering if you guys thought it would be smarter to get paid as a CNA, or do some volunteer work.

Thanks

I know this may sound like alot but....do both. The volunteering doesn't need to be intensive, just meaningful to you. The work experience is INVALUBLE!

I agree. You can volunteer one to two days a week in the geriatrics wing of a hopital or at a long term residence facility. You could also cut a day off of working as a CNA to make it easier.
