Volunteer programs abroad

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of any good websites or have any information regarding summer programs for this summer (between M1/M2 year). I really want to go abroad and maybe volunteer in a clinic or hospital, anything in a clinical setting. any help would be appriciated, thanks!

You should look into Unite for Sight (www.uniteforsight.org). Opportunities are available in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Eastern Europe. Volunteers prescribe eyeglasses, screen for operable cataracts and bring those with operable cataracts to an eye clinic for sight-restoring surgery, and implement eye health education programs.
