Volunteer work abroad for a few months?

Anyone know of any good programs to go abroad and do volunteer work on fairly short notice? I have the next 6 months or so off and would like to spend a few of them volunteering abroad. I'd like to do something where I'm working collaboratively with other volunteers if that is possible.
