How important is to have volunteering vs other clinical experiences like internships, shadowing, clinical studies, etc. I don't have much clinical volunteering (though a lot of non-medical volunteering) but I do have many clinical experiences...just not hospital volunteering, per say. Your thoughts on this? Thanks.

Getting clinical experience is by far the more important of things. It could come from volunteering or shadowing or internships.

You should have clinical experience and volunteer experience, but it doesn't have to be from the same thing.

You should be fine, as long as you have volunteering somewhere. Personally, I volunteer at the hospital, but it sucks. I'm not allowed to do anything except get some drinks for patients and push them around in wheelchairs. Also, you see what nurses do much more than physicians. Bah.
