VR Scores - Luck of the draw?!?!?????

Here are my scores for VR (AAMC CB Practice Tests #3-9):

#3: 8
#4: 8
#5: 7
#6: 11 - YES!!!
#7: 8
#8 11 - YES!!!
#9: 6 - wff?

I took one per day, and taking #10 tomorrow.
Anyone else's scores all over the map?

ya my aamc verbal scores have been all over the place.

went from 9 to 8 to 7 then 10 .. let's just hope the most recent one reflects how I will do

I think I scored from 9 to 13 on my practice tests, which is a pretty wide range. I ended up pulling a 13 on the real thing, but I'm not sure how "replicable" it is...

I started scoring higher/ more consistent when I started picturing the author of each passage and imagining him/her as a complete jerk seriously, it works. it helps you to consistently formulate arguments and see the main ideas.
