I just got Columbia today and St. Luke's a few days ago. However, I received NYU , Cornell and Mt. Sinai between 11/01 and 11/05. So there doesn't seem to be a method to the madness. If you are concerned, call the programs.
I have no hard data to back this up, but it seems like schools generally send out several sets of interviews. One would think early invitation must mean a school highly values an applicant, but I'm not convinced at all that this is true. I would just call to check on your status at NY schools -- a friend called and was told that her file hadn't even been reviewed (!) so her call might have pulled it off of the shelf.
