Waitlistee invited to second look weekend?

    This seems odd to me, but I was invited to a second look weekend at a school I've been waitlisted at. Is the common? Does it mean I am towards the top of the list? Does it mean anything at all? Or should I be studying for my exam tomorrow and not worrying about it?

    Lizzy? other Adcoms?

    It's probably a really good sign, signaling that there's an extremely good chance you'll be accepted! Yay! :)

    what school is it? some have propensities for not sending out acceptance letters until you remind them two or three times. :D

    I think Penn does this. If so, I have heard that it is a very good sign.

    It's UNM. Have any other UNM waitlistees received this invitation?

    You are in VERY good shape, unless if they sent it by mistake. They wouldn't want you at second look if you weren't at the top of the waitlist :thumbup:
