In July. I'm actually applying next cycle. Taking a gap year and then going for a 1 year masters. My grades in upper level biology were the worst comparatively so I'm looking to become better at that first before I go in to medical school. I'm kinda worried about my ECs though, especially with COVID-19. I'm immunosuppressed so I'm going to be unable to do a lot of things.

Also, if you are beginning your master's coursework, focus as much as you can on doing well in those courses. Network with your Texas schools' chapters of AMSA, SNMA, and LMSA before you apply. Do the best that you can with EC's, especially community service volunteering.
