1. 3.7 cGPA, 3.66 sGPA from 4-year(3 years total) at UNC. 4.0 GPA at 2-year (1.5 years total). total cGPA: 3.82 sGPA: 3.75 or so
4.0->4.0->transfer->4.0->3.43->3.21->3.76->4.0->3.71
2. taking next spring. from sample test, it is 511 but aiming higher.
3. NM resident
4. Asian
5. Chemistry Major, 2 gap years at least. (not in the gap year)
6. doing ER volunteer(did about one year before it too), applying for CNA jobs (just finished classes), looking for a medical scribe job (have an interview tomorrow)
7. 1-2 summer researches.
8. about 50 hours. looking for more.
9. not much. tutored kids 2 hrs/week for a year, and doing 3 hours/week now at a shelter.

Do I have a chance? I'm trying to apply 50+ schools, mostly low-tier and some mid tiers. I decided to go to a medical school late, so my ECs are not great. I do not have anyone in healthcare field within my family or cousins. immigrant.

Your GPA is very good. I wish I had that GPA.... Even if you got a 511 you would DEFINITELY have a chance at MD schools. If you score higher there is NO REASON to limit yourself to low-tier MD. Think UVA, UNC, Vanderbilt, (Vandy loves productive gap years)

thank you for a positive comment. I'm applying to UNC since it was my undergrad institution.
