Hello everyone, I'm looking for some help putting together my school list. My biggest worry is that I've been told I might be too competitive for DO schools, and not competitive enough for MD schools. I'm also debating on whether to take a gap year or not. Any advice would be great.

cGPA: 3.75
sGPA: 3.72
MCAT: 515
Ethnicity: Asian
School: run-of-the-mill state school
State: NC

Clinical Experience:
~400 hrs ED scribe

Shadowing:
~ 40 hrs OBGYN / General Surgery

Clinical Volunteering:
~ 24 hrs Medical brigade
~ 48 hrs summer camp for special needs children

Non-Clinical Volunteering:
~ 40 hrs pre-med org
~ 30 hrs sorority
~ 30 hrs undergrad assistant for organic chem lab

Leadership:
~ Secretary, and VP of pre-med org
~ VP of sorority
~ TA for sociology class

Research:
~ 1 year, (poster presentation cancelled due to covid-19)
