Hello! I am in my second of three years in college and I am looking to apply to medical school. I am considering a gap year but would prefer to not take one. I have started my school list but would like some input on where I should/ if I should apply this cycle.

Major: Biochemistry
Minors: Biology, Chemistry, Political Science, American Constitutional Democracy

cGPA: 3.76, cGPA 3.94 excluding courses taken in high school
sGPA: 3.79, sGPA 3.94 excluding courses taken in high school

MCAT: 513 (130/126/129/128)

State of Residence: MN, college in MO

Ethnicity: ORM, Male

Year in school: 2nd of 3

Clinical Experience:
20 hrs EMT volunteering at a soccer tournament
300 hours as a Tech at a hospital, projecting 375 completed by the application

Research:
I am trying to get into a lab for the summer, no research yet

Shadowing:
None, but already arranged to shadow once the hospital allows it

Nonclinical Volunteering:
125hours at a food pantry, projecting 150 by application
50 hours volunteering with an EMT course

Other Extracurriculars:
310 hours Ultimate Frisbee in college (Have played since middle school)
50 hours Disc golf (hobby)

Leadership positions in both food pantry and ultimate frisbee

Other Employment:
55 hours tutoring Gen Chem 1
220 hours as camp assistant summer after high school
Not sure if this counts, but I worked at a cafe in high school and worked very little summer before college

I am 19 right now, turning 20 in mid-June
Took 13 credits this past summer, Pass-failed Calc 2 from community college during the summer, Calc 1 is AP credit

remove South Carolina. Toledo is probably also not worth it as it’s strong in state/regional bias. Some of these others are state schools where it might be tougher because you generally need to have higher stats if you’re OOS, so check that you’re at least at the median for OSU, Cincinnati, Indiana.

you could replace with: NYMC, Temple, Drexel, Albany, Quinnipiac, Hackensack.
