You have a great resume, but MCAT score will be extremely important. Good luck!

I added the rough percentage of out of state matriculants for some of your schools in the quote. I suggest investing in the MSAR for reference and research. You will have the best chance at your state schools. For OOS schools, I suggest looking at private schools that take many OOS where your MCAT is close to (or above) the median. Look for schools where there are at least 20-30% OOS. The higher the better.

Unless you have ties to TN, delete both schools. I would also scrap MC GA and MU SC. If you score a 508, consider Loyola, Oakland Beaumont, and maybe Tulane. Lower than a 505, I would consider adding some DO schools. Like I said though, state schools are your best bet! Good luck!

PS: Anonymity is kinda a big deal on the forum. Change that picture. As much as I wish I was George Clooney...

My dad did his residency at ETSU and my mom went there for undergrad/grad school. I also have a lot of family in TN. Will that help with ETSU? Thanks for the advice! Also, I'm not really considering DO schools. I would rather take the MCAT again than go to DO school

ETSU would be worth applying to. You can try UT as well just be aware that chances are slim. To get in to state schools as an OOS applicant you usually have to be above the median MCAT. At ETSU thats a 506 and at UT thats a 510.
Are you applying this cycle or the next?

This cycle! I might cut UT, I didn't realize it had such a low OOS acceptance
