I went to the University of Georgia. My total GPA is a 3.84. Science GPA is somewhere around a 3.75. MCAT is a 507 (125 chem/phys, 127 CARS, 126 bio/biochem, 129 psych/soci) (yes I realize that this is considered low but I do not have time to retake for this cycle and am going to apply anyways then retake and reapply next cycle if I don't get in this cycle.)
Extracurriculars include 1350 hours scribing in the ER, 75 hours working as a personal care assistant, 260 hours working as a food runner, 85 hours working as a peer learning assistant for genetics, 40 hours working as a grader for cell biology, 100 hours working as a volunteer at Athens area homeless shelter, 45 hours working as a volunteer with people with disabilities, 80 hours working in a research lab, 100 hours working in a different research lab, 45 hours shadowing a section chief of urology surgeon at the VA up in Tennessee, leadership position in a club I was in for a semester, leadership position for my sorority for a semester, and two poster presentations for my research. I am looking to get a job as a medical assistant in my gap year but will not be able to add that to my application in time before submitting my primary.
Here is my school list (I am trying to stay on the east coast as I am from Georgia, with some schools being more in the midwest area; I would prefer a pass/fail system with optional class attendance and for the school to be lgbtq friendly. I have looked at out of state schools and tried to pick ones that accept more people out of state):
