Undergraduate GPA: cGPA: 3.31, sGPA: 3.34
Post bac GPA: 4.0, 25 credit hours
Cumulative GPA including post bac: cGPA: 3.43, sGPA 3.55
MCAT: 517 (B/B 131, CARS 125, C/P 130, P/S 131)
This will be my third application cycle. Between this cycle and the last, I will only really be adding my grades from the post-bac.

Extracurriculars: ~300 clinical volunteering hours, ~100 shadowing hours, involved in academic research for about 3 years and clinical research for 6 months. My recommendation letters are probably pretty average. Not bad, but not stellar either.

In my first application cycle, I received two interviews which led to one R and one WL. Second cycle led to two waitlists which I am currently on- one of which I have been told that I am in the top 10 of the waitlist, but this school has been seeing abnormally slow waitlist movement so I don't expect an A from them this cycle. All of these interviews have been at allopathic schools.

I am an Asian male, NJ resident.

Please help with making a school list and with gauging my chances for this next cycle. Thank you!

You should include DO schools in this coming application cycle.
I suggest these MD schools:
Your 3 NJ state public schools
Seton Hall
New York Medical College
Albany
Hofstra
Einstein
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Commonwealth-Geisinger
Penn State
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
George Washington
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
NOVA MD
Florida Atlantic
Florida International
Central Florida
TCU-UNT
Creighton
Loyola
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
Western Michigan
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
any schools where you interviewed in previous cycles if not included above.
Also apply to several DO schools and I suggest these:
PCOM
LECOM
MU-COM
DMU-COM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
AZCOM
CUSOM
VCOM (all schools)

Thank you- I really appreciate this. While I know this is asking you to speak purely in hypotheticals, how do you think I will fare as far as receiving interviews goes?

With your post bacc grades you should receive more than 2 MD interviews from my list. You are competitive for all DO schools but it is not possible to predict which ones will interview you.
