Hey all, first time posting!

Major: Medical Biology (English Minor)
cGPA: 3.92
sGPA: 3.90
MCAT: 511 (128:128:129:126)
ORM
Resident:
Maine resident
Institution: Private undergrad school in Maine
Clinical experience:
20 hours, and counting, volunteering at Outpatient IV therapy/ Cancer clinic
Completing Phlebotomy certification, will be working full time starting in May
Research:
Was a research assistant my freshmen year, but haven't had time/ the opportunity to since. Planning on working in Biochemistry research lab this summer.
Shadowing:
25 hours shadowing General Med. Docs and Surgeons abroad in Morocco
30 hours shadowing Orthopedic surgeon and Sports Med. Doc in U.S.A
Other Volunteering:
About 60 hours volunteering (Medical mission related organization, soup kitchen, cancer research fundraiser, orphanage in Morocco) and intending to increase these hours prior to application.
Other EC's:
Have continually worked multiple jobs throughout undergraduate career, including management positions and being a teachers assistant for Biochemistry.
Honors/ awards: Dean's list every semester, member of national honors society for top 10% of graduating class.

I am graduating a year early and have therefore have had limited time for EC's other than working. As mentioned earlier, I'll be spending my gap year (what would have been my senior year) working as a phlebotomist, hopefully getting some time in a research lab, and also continuing to volunteer! I was planning on applying to DO and MD schools as I've had good shadowing experiences with both, and am still unsure on what type of medicine I would like to pursue. Please let me know what you think of my list and if I should add/eliminate any schools.

Thanks for your help!

You are competitive for any DO school. For MD consider adding these:
Quinnipiac
Albany
New York Medical College
Oakland Beaumont
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
St.Louis
Creighton
Tulane

Volunteer hours are very weak. get over 100 hrs in clinical and nonclinical experience.

The shadowing in Morocco will not count.

Do you plan on actually applying this summer? IMHO, I wouldn't. Your ECs are way too sparse and you need a LOT more clinical hours. Is your nonclinical stuff abroad, too? You'll also need to fix that. I don't mean to be harsh in anyway, just honest. Schools will not let things slide because you graduated in three years.
