Medical Internship (temperature screening, patient transport, PT aide, shadowing): 400 hours
Hospice Volunteering: 50 hours

Shadowing: 40 hours

NON-CLINICAL
Hospice Volunteering (administrative, etc.): 150 hours
Volunteer Food Bank Leader: 100 hours
Mentoring low-income students: 80 hours

RESEARCH
Cancer Lab (analyzed data): 100 hours
Heathcare affordability (cleaned and analyzed data): 150 hours

Thoughts on a school list? Strong stats + above average ECs (I think?) + weak research

@Goro @Faha @justwaking Wow, thanks so much for the recommendations. What makes you guys recommend so many T20s? I have weak research and I don't think there's anything that really stands out compared to other high stat applicants?

Your ECs are solid. While there are Top Schools that are research who....um, sex workers, you're still competitive. In the mean time, service to others less fortunate than yourself can never hurt. Do what you love and love what you do.
 
Sorry, not a rock star for research heavy schools but for those which value lot of clinical volunteering exp. I like Faha's list. Also, Michigan seems to prefer those with gap years, ivy league and in-state but you have regional advantage. As an Asian tough to break into CA publics given their diversity interests.
