My biggest worry is my lack of vet hours, my family went through bad financial issues that led to me having to not follow through with my planned vet job and almost having to drop out (my job at my school was able to give my an academic scholarship), as we couldn't afford anything, I feel like I have a decent well rounded resume, I want to focus on Research/Exotic/more government veterinary practices

I would love to apply to UGA, Tennesse and perhaps UC Davis, but I worry I am not very competitive, would want to hear what others think.

Do you have an IS school? Your best bet for acceptance is generally your IS school, which is also usually the most affordable option as well.

While your gpa is very good, your vet hours are very low. Do you think you will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the industry and articulate your career goals?

Best of luck!
