Hi! I'm applying for the 2026 cycle and I could really use some help with my school list as well as workshopping a re-take if recommended.

This is my school list so far:
Albany, CWRU, NEOMED, OSU, Cinnci, Toledo, Wright State, EVM, Louisville, Loyola, MSUCHM, Southern Illinois, MCW, Temple, Central Michigan, Wayne State, PSU SOM.

My stats:
  • 3.90 cGPA/ 3.71 sGPA (BIOCHEM, BIO I/II, Ochem I/II taken post bacc at CC and 4 year)
  • additionally 3.80 gGPA with PT doctorate
  • 507 124/127/126/130
  • OH with MI and PA connections, White
  • Private 4-year undergrad and graduate
  • 4,200 hours of clinical work as PT (3 gap years)
  • non-clinical 320 hours volunteer (habitat, adaptive sports)
  • 250 research with local presentation
  • 45 hrs Shadowing experience and specialties represented (gen surg, anesthesia, FM, Ortho)
  • club soccer in UG, 120 hours TA cadaver lab, 200 hrs pro bono student-led clinic
Would a July re-take be beneficial for this year's cycle or is that tentatively something that would delay application review?

Thanks 🙂
