I had posted this earlier this year, but now with updated MCAT score. I wanted to know how I would do for MD schools.

  1. 3.58cGPA and 3.37sGPA (strong upwards trend in sGPA)
  2. 515 MCAT: 128 C/P, 128 CARS, 129 B/B, 130 P/S
  3. PA Resident, US Citizen
  4. Ethnicity and/or race: Indian, Male
  5. Undergraduate: Public school in PA, Double Major in Business and Biology, Minor in Chemistry and Economics
  6. Clinical experience: 175+ Hours of Hospital Volunteering
  7. Research experience and productivity: 4 Semesters of Undergraduate research - no papers published, 2+ years of paid work in an imaging lab, 1.5 yrs of private work for a Hematologist (I used my experience from the imaging lab to take images)
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented: 50 Hours shadowing Interventional Radiologist and Internal Medicine
  9. Non-clinical volunteering: 400+ Hours in under served communities
  10. Other extracurricular activities: Research at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine during gap year
  11. Relevant honors or award: Just deans list (I don't know if this is relevant), Graduated Magna Cum Laude
  12. Anything else not listed you think might be important: Studied abroad between junior and senior year

Any DO program. I can't recommend Touro-NY, Nova, Wm Carey, LUCOM, for different reasons. MSUCOM? Read up on Larry Nasser and you decide. LMU has an accreditation warning, which concerns me.
