did you attend events/shadow/volunteer at LSU?
your dat scores will hurt you if your list is almost all publics like it is now...

GPA is really good. I think some schools have cut-offs in terms of minimum sub-section scores on the DAT. I'd add more schools and just apply to the ones that don't have cutoffs. I would add nova, western, asdoh, georgia, new england, umkc, roseman

I have done fundraiser events that is organized by LSU's dental society. Other than that, I don't know any type of event/shadowing that you may be talking about. I haven't dove into many private schools. Do you have any recommendations?

Agreed DAT score will be tough hurdle to overcome
Would applying with it be a lost cause? I do see some success with one low sub score section, but I really don't know how lucky it is. My plan was to apply to as much schools as possible to increase my chances of getting an interview.

Thank you so much! Sounds like a plan!

opportunities were reduced a lot the past 2+ years due to covid unfortunately
i recommend you do your own research on private schools...

Not necessarily. But if I had to guess the school you would get into is going to be 400k+ so it wouldn’t be worth it to me
