Maine resident, second time applying got waitlisted at LIU and put on the reserve at University College Dublin, I was interviewed at University of Glasgow, WesternU, University College Dublin and Long Island University.

I graduated from University of Prince Edward Island in 2022. I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the start of my second semester of my second year so my grades first semester my second year are my second lowest semester due to taking finals with undiagnosed Type 1 Diabetes. My lowest semester was my first semester. I am queer and trans so even though I am willing to go nearly anywhere for school it needs to be a safe space.

Applying this time around to
University College Dublin
University of Glasgow
University of Edinburgh
Western U
Colorado
Most likely others feel free to make suggestions

LMU is extremely holistic in their process I recommend them. I know they have a solid community for LGBTQ+ students as well but I cannot speak to the community outside of the school itself. I would also say give LIU another go as well as maybe Virginia Maryland as they have a new way of assessing applicants this cycle making them more holistic. You don’t have BAD GPAs by any means but they do fall on the “lower end” when you compare to many accepted students. I’d be smart with your applications and apply to more holistic programs. Edinburgh and UCD are not known to be holistic and have GPA requirements/ cut offs. Glasgow is more holistic I definitely recommend applying there but also be wary of UK schools and their accreditation status due to NAVLE scores.
