Hey everyone.
Im hoping to get into a MD school this cycle after not getting into a DO one two cycles ago. When i first applied, i had a 3.4+ cGPA 3.1 sGPA 25 MCAT. Had 2 years working clinical experience, 300ish hours of volunteering (mostly with a church for 1.5 years and with a local hospital for 6 months).
I was not accepted, retook 3 science courses, took 2 new science courses and aced them all. Now i have a 3.5+ 3.3+ and retook the MCAT and scored a 512.
Im a little worried about the breakdown though.
Overall: 512
C/P: 126
CARS: 127
B/B: 129
P/S: 130
With my lower GPAs (but an upward trend), is that MCAT breakdown good enough to have a realistic shot at MD? Im applying to 20+ MD and 5+ DO.
So, chances?
