5. Undergraduate: Public State school (no committee letter due to MCAT) - stayed a 5th year to increase sGPA
6. Clinical: paid elderly caretaker (6 mon, 2000+ hrs), volunteered EMT-B/dispatch during covid (2 years, 200 hrs), MA/phlebotomist/translator/EKG in primary care clinic full time (2 years, 4000+ hrs)
7. Research: opioid clinical research (150 hrs), honors thesis on opioid research (250 hrs)
8. Shadowing: hospital ER (60 hrs), primary care (65 hrs), online (150 hrs)
9. Non-clinical: tutored minorities throughout undergrad (4 years, 5500+ hrs), poll worker (all elections 2016-2022), bone marrow registry club member (50 hrs), co-founded program for BLM protests during covid (300+ hrs), co-founded medical brigade school club (200 hrs)

CCOM prefers students with a higher MCAT, so remove them.

I realize my low MCAT severely hinders me from getting into an MD. Would it be worth retaking a third time by August, possibly delaying my application, or should I simply focus on writing secondaries? My FL average before my 2nd attempt was a 512 (repeating FLs may have skewed my scores).

Don’t retake. It is very unlikely that you do better and you have good chances at DO.
