I know my stats are great and based on those I could apply more top heavy, however my application is not research oriented whatsoever and I feel as though the top schools value that aspect greatly.

UC Irvine admits few non residents. UT Southwestern, UT San Antonio and Baylor are the only Texas schools that admit a significant number of non residents. Remove Medical College Wisconsin, Creighton since they will "yield protect" with your stats. You could add these schools:
Washington University (in St. Louis-almost a guaranteed interview with your stats)
Vanderbilt
Kaiser
Harvard
Yale
Columbia
Cornell
Northwestern
